back at last...
Well, it has been a long time between posts! A few big projects have kept me occupied, so no daily paintings for the summer!
Here is the life-size bobcat sculpture in bronze, finally.

Welcome
Thank you for stopping by to visit my artist's daily journal.
I invite you to keep coming by to share my works in progress and finished pieces, something new nearly every day. I have been inspired to do some smaller pieces on a regular basis by the fabulous works of Julian Merrow-Smith, Duane Keiser and Elin Pendleton as well as others who are pioneers in Daily Painting.
I usually work in oils, and have been a painter of horse and dog portraits for over twenty years, and at one time I specialized in Thoroughbred racehourses, having been connected with the industry for many years. I have works in collections on three continents and in many countries. I also sometimes work in other mediums, recently watercolor, and have done a bit of sculpting, with a couple of new works in progress which I will have cast eventually.
I often work on commission, so many of my works will not be for sale, but those that are will have a purchase link included in the entry.
I'll be adding some previous work as well as new things in the coming days.
